Cross country
Last friday was cross country i was so nervous. First the juniors ran and everyone was cheering. The course looked very long i did not want to run i hated cross country. We waited for our turn it took very long we where sitting on the concrete and it was very painful. I really wanted to do 1 or 2 laps of the juniors our course was really huge and we had to do 3 laps!. I wished i had broken a bone so i did not have to do cross country. Then the year 5 boys ran and we were next i was so nervous i really did not want to run. Mr Tetzlaf would clap with this wood piece. It was our turn to run i was scared then we ran as fast as we could. I was jogging at the start then i was first at the start until a few people started passing me then i tried to run but i was tired. Then i saw a green first aid pack and a teacher telling us to run! I was trying as hard as i could to run. I was sooo tired but i keep on running then i walked up the hill and around the rubbish bin and down and around the bushes. Then i saw my friend april and i tried to keep up with her put she keep on running when i came. Then i was on my second lap and walking i had a shoulder and hip stitch and it hurt and i could not run so i tried to jog i was about to pass out. Then i joged on the leaves there were so many of them the grass felt squishy and slippery. We passed the rubbish bins i could not run i was trying to jog but i walked. I had a shoulder stich and a hip stich it hurt i could not really breathe my eyes were watering i was in pain. Then i started to jog but only for a little bit i was so tired. I was trying not to trip over the tree roots still trying to jog. I passed the same teacher again, i was on my last lap i was jogging then i started to run i caught up to april and we started walking together. We passed the rubbish bin and i saw another green aid bag we were trying to run but we jogged. We passed another rubbish bin the teacher was clapping and i was jogging slowly. I was near the end walking then april passed me when i was about to run and she was 13 place and i came 14. I was very proud of myself i could see my other friends i was very tired i was about to pass out. I took a very large drink of water. THE END
I love your writing about cross country.
